Mishap Games Objective Painting Contest
Time for another painting contest at Mishap Games! The theme for this painting contest is any objective or set of objectives for a game. These much fought over Mcguffins are the focus of most of our games and deserve to be painted nicely.
Make sure to sign up for the judging event, so that everyone knows you are participating. The more people that participate, the larger the prizes.
To Participate
Purchase any miniature or hobby supply items from the store before the end of the contest. This could be a miniature, a scenery piece from a boardgame, flock, or any other hobby item. We are happy to order what you need to be successful. This contest is running a little longer to allow time for orders. Then, build and paint your objective! Throughout January and February we will have hobby days where you can learn to paint, swap tips with other painters, or scope out the competition.
The Rewards
Everyone who participates by getting at least 4 colors and a finished base on their objective will receive 20% off a single item of the same value or less of the materials they purchased. On Feb 18th, bring your objective in for judging. Judging starts at 11:45 sharp. Prizes in store credit for the top finishers, categories will be determined by the number of entrants. We also have a list of secret prizes. They will be similar to: "Orange you glad you chose this color?" If you paint an objective that's mostly orange, win $5 in store credit.
Small Print
Wonder if your objective is acceptable? Ask James Dixon at the store. Get it approved when buying it if you are unsure! You don't have to be present on Feb 18th to win the participation prize or the judging prizes, but some of the secret prizes are for in-person winners only. All objectives entered will be photographed and put on the website. Winners have the option of leaving their objective in the display case for a period of time.

The dead terminator captain from Space Hulk, consoles for Infinity, civilian targets for Rogue Stars, Scheme Markers for Malifaux, a set of clan tokens for Blood Rage.
