With Game of Thrones Season 7 just being released last Sunday.. Here are some of my favorite games from the world of Westeros that are currently available at Mishap Games. Game of Thrones: The Board Game: With gameplay mechanics similar to the game Diplomacy, players manuever armies to secure support in the various regions of the seven kingdoms, with the goal being to capture enough of them to secure the Iron Throne. Players can choose to play as their favorite houses, including House Stark, House Tyrell, House Lannister, House Boratheon, House Greyjoy, and as of the Clash of Kings Expansion: House Martell. This brings us to the second one we have in stock, GoT: The Board Game, 2nd Edition. In this second edition of the popular board game, Robert Boratheon is already dead -- and the lands of Westeros brace for battle. This game requires 3-6 players to take flight, with players, again, taking on the roles of the great houses. These great houses vie for the Iron Throne via the use of diplomacy and warfare. Using game cards, an army, game tokens, and other necessary components, players go through 3 phases each round to help gain control over the others. And now we come to the other GoT themed game: Game of Thrones - The Card Game: Second Edition and the extra Chapter Expansions. This game is a living card game, meant for 2-6 players that features cunning plots, iconic characters, and deadly encounters. Players must best their oponents to the Iron Throne by defeating them in battle, outwitting them in court, or by stealing power in the Political Arena. The expansion packs (the tiny chapter packs to the bottom-left of the photo) are for this card game, and expand the available plots with relevant characters and scenery to each Chapter. Coming to the last GoT themed item on our list, comes Game of Thrones (minigame): Hand of the King: This game is a standalone pack for a fast-paced card game for 2-4 players. This game utilizes help from the character Varys, with a tournament that will allow the King to choose a new Hand of the King. Players must use scheming and backstabbing to rise to power against your opponents. Who will be victorious in the battle for the Iron throne?
